Loop met ons mee door KL, Penang en Ipoh. Onze gidsen zijn hier opgegroeid. De kraampjes die we bezoeken zijn daarom familiebedrijfjes. De eigenaren kennen onze gidsen bij naam. We vertellen je de verhalen achter elk gerecht en de buurten die ze hebben gevormd. Sinds 2011 hebben we meer dan 5.000 gasten rondgeleid. Op onze streetfoodtours in KL, tours door het food-paradijs Penang en privé tours. Vegetarisch? Glutenvrij? Halal? Zeg het gewoon. Wil je wat langzamer lopen of ergens langer blijven hangen? Je gids stemt de route helemaal op jou af. Elke tour gaat door echte markten waar de locals eten. Dit is jouw tijd in Maleisië. En als we klaar zijn, ga je naar huis met een volle buik en nieuwe vrienden.
The People
The stalls we visit are run by people we've known for over a decade. Aunty Fatimah has been making roti jala in the same spot for 40 years. Uncle Kim's char kway teow recipe came from his father. These aren't hired vendors — they're the reason we started the tours.

Why is Penang laksa sour and KL's sweet? What's the story behind the Hainanese coffee shops on every corner? And how did a family dispute over a noodle recipe become a national dish? We grew up with these stories — and we share them over the table, not from a script.
The Location
We don't go to the restaurants with air conditioning and picture menus. We take you to the stall down a staircase in Chow Kit market, the noodle shop that doesn't have a sign, and the curry house where the menu is written on a whiteboard in Malay. This is where we eat on our days off.
